Winterbottom Stakes – Ascot – tips

Seems to be a pretty quiet day in the Eastern States metropolitan meets, but Ascot from WA has two good Group Ones for the day with the Winterbottom Stakes and Railway Stakes – so our attentions are heading west.

The track is currently rated a good 3, with the weather forecast to be fine for the day.

Tips as follows:

Race One – Peace for Paris Handicap – 1200m

SH:        10 – Paddy’s Flat

MP:       8 – Lunar Eclipse


Race Two – Hahn Superdry Handicap – 1500m

SH:        11 – Liberty Rise

MP:       6 – Little Shadow (each way)


Race Three – Jungle Mist Classic – 1200m

SH:        2 – Sheidel

MP:       2 – Sheidel


Race Four – Carbine Clube of WA Stakes – 1400m

SH:        8 – Neverland

MP:       8 – Neverland


Race Five – Placid Ark Stakes – 1200m

SH:        10 – Celebrity Dream

MP:       12 – Let It Slip


Race Six – Sky Racing WA Guineas – 1600m

SH:        5 – He’s Our Rokkii

MP:       15 – Arcadia Dream


Race Seven – Crown Perth Winterbottom Stakes – 1200m

SH:        1 – Buffering

MP:       1 – Buffering (each way)


Race Eight – James Boags Premium Railway Stakes – 1600m

SH:        5 – Real Love

MP:       1 – Black Heart Bart


Race Nine – Tattersalls Cup – 2100m

SH:        3 – Rebelson

MP:       6 – Drive West


And the best bet for the Eastern States:


SH:        Ballarat – Race 9 – No. 10 – Profit Share

MP:       Ballarat – Race 8 – No. 16 – Ungrateful Ellen.
