Turnbull Stakes – Flemington – tips

Flemington today for the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes, on a magnificent Melbourne day.

It’s going to be a warm day with the temperature predicted to hit 28 degrees, so keep your eye on horses sweating up significantly in the mounting yard;  the track is currently rated a good 4 but may be upgraded with the drying wind.

Tips as follows:

Race One – Maribyrnong Trial Stakes – 1000m

SH:        3 – Manuel

MP:       3 – Manuel

Race Two – Poseidon Stakes – 1400m

SH:        3 – One for One

MP:       3 – One for One (each way)

Race Three – Gilgai Stakes – 1200m

SH:        1 – Chautauqua

MP:       1 – Chautauqua

Race Four – UCI Stakes – 1800m

SH:        12 – Iron Boss

MP:       9 – Tivaci (each way)

Race Five – Edward Manifold Stakes – 1600m

SH:        11 – Sacred Eye

Race Six – The Bart Cummings – 2520m
