The BMW – Rosehill Gardens – tips

The Sydney Carnival  is one of the highlights on the Australian racing calendar and today’s card from Rosehill Gardens, with the $1.5 million Group 1 BWM the feature, is an example why.

The track is rated a good 4, the weather forecast is fine and it should be another lovely day, so Stephen Humphreys and I have had a crack at tipping a few winners for you. Here goes:

Race One – Schweppervescence Quality – 1400m

SH:         10 – Street Rapper

MP:        1 – Takedown


Race Two – Handicap – 1400m

SH:         1 – Beauty’s Beast (each way)

MP:        7 – Frespanol


Race Three – Doncaster Prelude – 1500m

SH:         2 – Leebaz (best bet of the day)

MP:        2 – Leebaz


Race Four – Emancipation Stakes – 1500m

SH:         11 – Any Day Will Do (each way)

MP:        1 – Catkins (best bet of the day)


Race Five – Star Kingdom Stakes – 1200m

SH:         10 – Lucky Lago (each way)

MP:        9 – Tahitian Black (each way)


Race Six – Vinery Stud Stakes – 2000m

SH:         4 – Winx

MP:        1 – First Seal


Race Seven – The BMW – 2400m

SH:         1 – Protectionist (each way)

MP:        9 – Silent Achiever


Race Eight – Tulloch Stakes – 2000m

SH:         8 – Caped Crusader

MP:        9 – Ruling Dynasty


Race Nine – Neville Sellwood Stakes – 2000m
