Welcome to the Valley, my favourite track in Australia, the home of the Cox Plate and where so many champions are proven.  As usual, Stephen Humphries and I have come up with some tips for your Australia Day weekend.

Track conditions are rated a good 4, the forecast is a fine, sunny day and the BBQs and beers should be freely flowing with a few tips for the day:

Race One – Schweppes Handicap – 1000m

SH:     4 – Royal Snitzel

MP:     6 – Shaf

Race Two – TCL 4K UHD TV Handicap – 1600m

SH:     2 – Arena Rock

MP:     3 – It’s One

Race Three – Chandler Macleod Hcp – 2040m

SH:     3 – Lucques

MP:     8 – Norman Rules

Race Four – 1Print Handicap – 1600m

SH:     7 – Seattleite

MP:     2 – Priority Road

Race Five – City Jeep Handicap – 2040m

SH:     9 – Churchill’s Wit

MP:     1 – Gingerboy

Race Six – Antler VOBIS Gold Star – 1500m

SH:     12 – Hong Kong Captain

MP:     9 – Profit Share

Race Seven – Jeep Australia Stakes – 1200m

SH:     5 – Hard Stride

MP:     1 – Dissident (best of the day)

Race Eight – Alternate Railway Handicap – 1200m

SH:     1 – Sumakaray

MP:     7 – Scarlet Billows

Race Nine – Sportingbet – William Hill – 1000m

SH:     3 – O’Malley (each way)

MP:     5 – Override
